The Messerschmitt Bf 109E, often referred to as 'Emil', was one of the most frequently used fighter aircraft during the Battle of Britain and a synonym for air superiority of the time. Major Erich Mix, whose machine was recreated here, was an experienced pilot and made a decisive contribution to air defense. The Junkers Ju 87B, better known as Stuka, is considered one of the most distinctive fighter aircraft of the German Air Force. With its iconic siren sounding during a dive attack, it became a symbol of psychological warfare.
