In 2019, Cappagh acquired four former DB Cargo Class 60s, from store, which were overhauled and repainted by DB Cargo at Toton TMD. 60046 and 60055 were repainted in the DC Rail Freight corperate grey livery. The locomotive that Gaugemaster have chosen to reproduce, 60046, regained its original name, William Wilberforce, and is now a regular sight all over the UK undertaking freight and contract work.
This Heljan O gauge Class 60 features their proven high-performance twin motor/flywheel chassis, headlights, cab and tail lights, a PCB with screw terminals allowing the installation of a wired DCC decoder and provision for DCC sound.
As before, the specification also includes sprung buffers, wire handrails, fine etched grilles, separately fitted windscreen wipers, silencer, sandpipes, bogie and bufferbeam details.
