Features

Thunderbird 2 is International Rescue's iconic heavy-duty transporter. Capable of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) and speeds of up to 6,000 mph, this formidable aircraft delivers specialised rescue equipment to disaster zones via one of six interchangeable container pods.

This large-scale injection-moulded plastic model kit includes Pod 6 and its high-powered cargo vehicle, Firefly. Piloted by Virgil Tracy, Thunderbird 2 appeared in all but one episode of the classic Thunderbirds TV series.

- Removable Pod 6 with opening front ramp and fully detailed interior
- Spring-release mechanism for pod deployment
- Turned metal support legs - display Thunderbird 2 in elevated, grounded, or inflight position
- In-scale Firefly pod vehicle with rubber tracks and movable dozer blade
- Optional decals representing the various studio models used in the original TV series and feature films
